1st is always the better end: lowest for wages, player costs and net debt. In EUR at ECB rates.
Club individual accounts: no consolidated accounts exist for 2020/21 (the only subsidiary, Real Madrid Consulting (Beijing), was not consolidated on immateriality grounds). Facts from the Spanish original (es-2020-21). The clean opinion was read in the English translation (en-2020-21 p75: 'give a true and fair view'); the audit firm's name is not in the text layer of either version (letterhead and signature are images), so `auditor` is left blank. Covid season: matches behind closed doors from March 2020 (matchday income 10,257k); 37,457k of revenue and 2,090k of costs moved from 2019/20 to 2020/21. REVENUE is the statutory 'Importe neto de la cifra de negocios'; the club's headline 'ingresos de explotación antes de enajenación' is 652,979k (note 22, p71). Stadium-loan finance costs were capitalised and shown as finance income (8,704k). IMPAIRMENT_PLAYERS is negative because the line 'Deterioro y pérdidas Inmovilizado Intangible deportivo' is a net credit of 16,476k (reversal). 275m of the stadium loan was drawn ('Otras deudas').
Wages are all staff costs, not only the players.
2020/21 was played behind closed doors, so growth from that season looks bigger than it is.
